How to get there: From North Fork or the Pines Village drive on Road 274 to Brown's Ditch. This is where the Central Camp Road begins. Park across the road in the dirt parking lot. The trail begins on the left, about 100' up the Central Camp Road. There are three sections to the trail. Most people ride up the lower two sections of the trail. At the end of the second section, ride up the Central Camp Road to the Francis Junction turnoff (the mileage to this point is about 4.5 miles if you ride the trail, and about 8 miles if you ride the road). Turn left and ride a mile, where you'll turn left at a couple big rocks at the side of the road. Ride across a clearing, past the granite on the left, and head down the trail, riding back down all three sections.
