Marian and her daughter Grace ride all the time at Case Mountain BLM area.  These pix were all taken descending the creek trail.

Directions: Hwy 198 E into Three Rivers, right on Skyline Dr., follow Skyline to the end; there's a locked vehicular gate and an unlocked equestrian/pedestrian/cyclist gate; take the easement uphill about 1/4 mile to the second gate, then you're on the BLM).

The notch. Grace is about to drop her front wheel off the rock to her left (photo right), so that her rear wheel tracks a smooth line. The pile of small rocks in front of the larger rock is new. We think someone put them there (we think we know who, too) to help when climbing it.
