Very technical but short climb. BEWARE of Poison Oak, Gnats, and Ticks. But still a great ride.

How to get there: From Oakhurst take Road 426 to the Forks
Resort. At this point you have two choices to get to the top of Goat Mountain.
Either park at the Forks Resort and ride the trail that begins from the Forks
Campground, or drive down Road 222 along the lake to Spring Cove Campground, and
ride the trail that begins there. The Spring Cove trail will join the Forks
trail about half way up the mountain. At the top of the trail, take a left, then
continue around the gate and bear left to ride to the lookout.
Another alternative is to ride back up Road 426 from the Forks, then turn left
at the stop sign. From there you will ride a couple of miles until you come to
the fire road on the left which leads to the top of the trail and also goes to
the lookout.
